Gym company disgusts me immensely!!!

I have been with the gym company since December 2019 and it was good for the 1st 3 months pre lock down. Our contract is simple, it states they provide facilities and I pay a monthly subscription, since lock down I've been meeting my end of the contract and they obviously have not been providing any facilities so I confronted them asking what it is they can do to meet me half way because R299pm is a lot of money considering that they're unable to meet their end of the contract. They said I still need to pay. I've been paying since and according to me for absolutely nothing. I asked to cancel they wanted to milk me for a further R1800. They have since blocked me from messaging them on their social media platforms and also blocked me from commenting, I called the manager for my gym at Maponya mall branch and he was so unhappy that they had given me his cell number and still did not assist me. I am immensely unhappy and I need to be heard. This is utter exploitation.
