Gym

i having a problem with some gym company i joined in 2010. The sale person told me that as soon as i use the gym card nor facilities the contract will be activated . I got there i asked to see the facility before can use the gym and found that they didn't even have enough equipment , the gym looked like its made for only 2 people as they dint have equipment and i consulted with them that i wont be joining the gym because the facilities are not on point and the lady there gave me numbers for accounts , i contacted them and they told me need to pay a full 3 years amount to cancel yet i haven't used the facility . I payed for the month because i went to see the facilities . 4 years letter i receive a Final notice letter telling me that i will be blacklisted because i own them money . i asked for my contract copy before and i never received it . I refuse to pay an amount of R7911 for gym i never used . The finance lady didn't even have records of my account and didn't even find the reference given on the letter on her system. Please do assist .
