DO NOT MAKE USE OF THE GYM COMPANY

I was Approached by a Gentleman offering me a Gym Contract,After Signing the contract I found out that Some Details that he gave me was False,He phoned me Telling me that I should come and Collect the Membership Card and for my Account Details then I told him that I do not want to proceed with the contract and that he should cancel it ,that's when he said that the contract will be cancelled . I Then received a sms from the company stating that I have an outstanding balance on my account but I requested to speak to a Manager because the account should have been closed , He promised to get the matter resolved and get the contract cancelled.I received a letter on the 24th of November 2015 stating that I owe them an Amount of R8428 and that they will be blacklisting me if I do not get the account up to date.They aren't of any help I Requested the contract and asked to have them go back to their phone Records for the conversations I had with the manager and The Sales person,I have been told that there is no such records and that the Sales person liable for my account no longer works there!This is unacceptable Why must I pay for the company not doing their work properly!!
