Disgusting service

I recently noticed that Gym company is still debiting my account even after my contract expired. They called me because I reversed the amount they debited. They then told me that my contract expired in August 2018, after then it became a month to month contract, which this was never disclosed to me. I have not been using this gym. They were debiting me even during lockdown when other gyms froze gym payments. Last month they called me saying I owe them for two months. I told them the contract is finished and I even sent them a request on their website to end the contract but they didnt come back to me. This month they debited gain and then they call me to tell me the amount is going to affect my credit profile. I have never had any communication from this company until now when they say I owe them. I signed a contract when I was in Braamfontein but I am being called by Gym company Newtown which I never even went to. I called them asking for my contract so that I can escalate this matter with my lawyers, they said someone will call me back but I am still waiting. I want all that money they took from me back. It is disgusting that this company took our money during lockdown when we were not even using any of their services. I would never recommend anyone to use this gym.
