This is to complain about Planet fitness gym that keeps on deducting monthly premiums from my bank account. I complained about this to their gyming site in Pietermaritzburg where I stay and in Johannesburg through their call centre. It appears that they thought I have a contract with them which I don't and that surprised me a lot as I would not know how did they manage to get my personal information including my banking details. They looked at their archives to see if I have an existing contract with them and nothing they could see and they acted as if they don't know w how then I was put in their system for the monthly premium deductions. After they have found out that there's no contract they said they will stop the deduction. They sent me a proof of canselation of contract as if I have canseled my contact while I had no contact with them and that was in October 2020. Now in November 2020 I noted a deduction of about R700 which went to planet fitness and I imidiately reversed it. I phoned the office and I was told if I cansel a contract I need to give two or one month notice, again that surprised me as I really do not have a contract with them. I would think that they are doing a *******ion on my bank account and I need this to be investigated straight to the bottom of it.
