Check other options before joining

So wow, I normally read Hello Peter reviews before I go head into something. But I must have missed this one. The 1 star is only there, because it won't allow me to review otherwise. I did not know how bad this company is. I don't use the weights section of the gym, so I can't really review on that, but I pay for the platinum membership in order to make use of the spa facilities. I have only been a member for about a year and I still haven't been given a copy of my contract. I have been requesting it since. Every time they say that they will get someone to call me because the person to speak to is not there or they will request it from head office. Still nothing. (and I am a patient person) I can't use the facilities in the spa in Bromhof, because their equipment is not working. Mainly why I joined was to be able to use it. I have to say that some staff members at Bromhof are really nice and helpful and I feel that their hands are cut off. They are told what to say and do and we attack them for the Company's incompetency. I feel that we as members are highly prejudiced against. I cannot believe the amount of bad reviews this company has, but it still manages to stay open and recruit more members. My advice here is not to blame the sales representatives. They are highly trained to manipulate you in thinking you need this and to convince you to sign up. Once you are signed, they move on. What happens next is on us. It is our fault. If they go to fast, it is because they don't want your brain to register what is going on and allow you to think about it. They are puppeteers. Slow them down. So check before you sign up for anything.
