Cancellation of Contract

<p>In October last year i was approched by one of the sales people of the Gym.... he explained that they were having a special, i would pay R180pm for the first 3months and then it would become a month to month contract.</p> <p>i agreed to the contract, gave my banking details and signed the contract. i Gymed there for the first 2months and then stoped, in May this year i checked my bank statement to find that they are still debiting my account and its now 10months later.</p> <p> </p> <p>i sent them an email asking them to cancel my contract as the three months agreed on is now over, i recieved an email back saying that i was given a 12month contract to signed and based on that they will not cancel the contract.</p> <p> </p> <p>i recieved an email from Present she is an administration clerk saying that they will still continue to debit my account until i pay in a cancelation fee of R700.00 which i feel is pathetic.</p> <p> </p> <p>I feel that this is ******* as i signed a three month contract and should not be liable to pay a cacelation fee 10months later.</p>
