Cancelation not being processed and calls and messages being ignored

I went into the Flora Centre Gym company to cancel my contract on 24 August to cancel my contract which is a month to month contract and the lady (whose name I didn't get) told me I would receive an email confirmation of the cancelation the same day. She said if I don't get it in three days I should call. I called three days later and they said they will ensure i get the email confirmation. I did not receive any feedback so I snwt a message on their whatsapp number and the person said they would check and get back to me. I kept sending messages and got no response. I don't know what else to do to get my contract canceled.
