Blacklisting

I have received a letter advising that I am about to be blacklisted by Gym Company. I OWE THEM 7911.00.I was once approached by one of their consultants at maponya mall who told me that I get free membership for 3months, after the three months if I am interested I can sign a contract, I gave the guy my details however I have never ever went to their premises for a work out. I went to maponya this morning to query about the letter I received was assisted by Nandi who told me that I owe them, she then gave me a copy of my contract I signed in 07/2010.When you enter into a legit contract aren't u given a copy immediately of the contact u entered. I was ******* into this contract I signed in 2010 only getting my copy in 02/2015, I don't have any document sent to say I am a member but they were able to send me a letter advising that I am about to be blacklisted. If this is a way of u guys getting money by ******** people, u really sick.
