GWM Haval The Glen - Sucks
GWM Haval The Glen Wow what a BAD experience your personnel contributed to. New / preowned vehicle sales. I expressed my interest in the Tank300. Requested a quotation from the Sales manager as well as her saleslady without any success. I then spoke to the used vehicle manager and his salesman. Eventually a screenshot was shared on WhatsApp. Various demo rides were requested only to be bluntly ignored again. Workshop My Steed 5 left rear brake leaked hydraulic oil, the experience was somewhat scary because my brakes failed on the road while driving. I took the bakkie to the workshop after I filled the hydraulic reservoir, to ensure braking when pumping the brake pad. I requested to speak to the workshop manager. My question was if it would be covered by the vehicle warranty. He told me no because my service intervals were not kept and the fact that I performed the last service myself, using spare parts that I purchase from them. I was told the vehicle will be inspected to determine what was required. I received an estimate quote for R8,729.86. I gave a go-ahead reference GR008524. The next day I went to the branch to find out when the vehicle would be ready, to be told that the parts were ordered, delivery date is not known. The following day I received notification that the parts arrived and that I will be kept updated on the progress. I rep**** as follows “NO I will collect and pay for the part today and collect my vehicle. God Work Miracles the glenn broke my trust”. After I stripped the left rear down to part level I took a video with audio explaining that I do not agree with all the parts they sold me. I also went to the workshop manager office, discussed the return of the parts, to be told NO. Now the brake shoes I received are not the correct items. The Glen I hereby request an urgent refund for the parts R6774.86 plus R3400 for my 4hrs labour of wasted time (your estimate was 2hrs @ R1700 excluding VAT).
