Don't Trust The Sales Pitch

To say I’m disappointed with both the customer service and the quality of workmanship would be an understatement. Garth Dennis, the owner, makes numerous promises and assures you that he knows what he’s doing, often claiming he is capable of handling various tasks. However, I was ultimately left strung out and abandoned. He refuses to take any accountability or responsibility for his actions or mistakes. Instead, he shifts the blame to anything and everything else when issues arise.

My experience with him has cost me more in repairs and damages now than what was originally owed, despite giving him multiple chances to rectify his poor workmanship. Garth is highly emotional and struggles to handle pressure, which often results in him disappearing for over a week at a time—this occurred multiple times during our project. He frequently takes on too many jobs simultaneously, leaving only one or two builders on site, which significantly slows down progress. If you dare to question him about it, he will have a slew of excuses ready, as he does with everything when things are not going according to plan.

This situation left me completely frustrated, having to communicate through his sister, Mandy-Lee, who handles his accounts, just to get any answers or direction from him, which often took additional time.

I strongly advise you to save yourself the money, headaches, and frustration that come with working with this man and his company. While he may be a good salesman and make you feel like you’re in capable hands, the reality is that you may be entering a situation you did not anticipate—especially if you are undertaking a larger-scale renovation project like I did.
