Referral letter haven for the wrong hospital

I was given a referral letter at Gugulethu Day Hospital around April 2017 to go see a Gynaecologist at Grootes Schuur hospital for the date of the 11/09/2017 which is today, my appointment was at 7am and when I got there I was told that I was supposed to be sent to Mitchells Plain Hospital as they work with clinics in those sectors, now I have to again myself take the letter to Mitchells plain and where the nurse who worked in the gynae dep said I will be given a date for early next year around May 2018. . I am so angry because it means I need to wait and wait until they decide to do their jobs efficiently. How many people including myself where given wrong info just because it's a free service rendered by the government? ? Why are we not treated with respect??
