Graaff Renett

Me and my sisters went to Graaff Renette for a weekend. The place and area has always just been a drive through on our way from Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with this small town. The people that we interacted with was nice and helpful. The guesthouse was in a quiet area but within walking distance to shops. The house was clean and comfortable. Good parking and outdoor area. We did not feel unsafe at anytime. Water was a problem as there were no water for the area. No problem as our host tried her best under the circumstances. We actually appreciate our water more than before. We went to the Valley of Desolation and although we did not see many animals the walk was very easy to do and the views were amazing. Pictures does not always do the area justice. Please do yourself a favor and visit the area. Look for specials during # Black Friday
