Substandard gooods by Guess Discount Outlet Durban

I bought a pair of Guess sunglasses and a Guess belt in November 2014. Both items were defected in a space less than six months. The sunglasses broke the frame in the middle while I was cleaning them. On the belt, the buckle stitch came off. I went back to the store and I spoke to the Manager Rene Sheik, she said they are a factory shop and they do not do repairs. She then asked me for a slip, of which I showed her, but the slip was not readable because all the ink writing had faded. She then told me that she cannot help me because the slip was not clear. On the 24 January 2016 I went back and spoke to David Dockers who told me more or less the same story. He suggested that I take my glasses to Torga Optical next door shop for repairs. Torga Optical refused, they said they don't repair repair plastic frames. I am now sitting with two expensive defected items that I cannot use. Guess is passing the buck because had they told me that they only do sales and they don't do repairs from the beginning, I would have used my money wisely to buy my goods elsewhere, where they provide aftersale care for customers.
