Repair incompetence

I gave my watch in for repairs at the Guess accessories shop in Sandton on the 13th of March 2016. The watch strap broke and I needed them to repair the leather band. They informed me that the specific strap might not be available and asked whether they can repair it with an alternative strap. I agreed to this as there is no other option. They informed me that it would take 5-6 weeks. 3 months later I went in to the shop to check on the status as I received no phone call or sms, plus it is impossible to get hold of anyone at the shop. When I arrived I got the watch only to find out they did not repair it. The employee also insisted that they sent me a message. I then showed her on my phone that I didn't receive one. Eventually they sent it back. The past weekend (23 July) I went there once again, I asked the employee why they didn't contact me once again and she insisted that they did, she actually got arrogant with regards to the situatioin. She showed me the number on the packet the watch was in, I informed her that it was wrong and she basically put the blame on me. The attached photo will support my claim that I gave her my correct number as she wrote it down on my receipt. Finally, to make matters worse when she opened my packet it wasn't even my watch in the parcel, this was after she asked for the R300 I owed them. I am digusted in the employees approach and the mediocre service I have received from Guess South Africa. The date is the 27th of July 2016. I have been wating for months for nothing. Also since the weekend, the Guess accessory shop has still not gotten back to me with regards to where my watch is. Customer service is obviously not a priority to Guess.
