Refusal of an exchange

<p>I was refused an exchange of a T shirt purchased at Guess, Springfield Durban. All I needed was to exchange a size but the stores manager lady was rude and not obliging to my purpose for coming in to the store. The sales assistant guy tried to help but he was unable to authorize my request. They stated that my shirt was a previous exchange but there was no receipt to prove it. I had my one and only receipt which I presented to them. I received the shirt as a gift for my birthday and had to get the receipt from the person who gave me the gift. The people at the store could also not find the previous exchange receipt in their own records, therefore there was no evidence of the item being previously exchanged. I had to leave the store with the wrong size shirt, which I cannot use. I cannot understand why I had to be dealt with in such a rude manner. And why I could not do a simple size exchange. The manager had also warned me that they were being audited on camera, I would hope someone would actually watch that footage and see how unfair the situation was to me, a paying customer! I will not be shopping at Guess again and I will be sure to let any person thinking of purchasing a gift for me from there again to know of this bad experience.</p>
