Guess Handbag

6 Months ago i bought a Guess Handbag for my moms birthday. She absolutely loves this bag and a week ago the stitching at the bottom of the bag started tearing apart. I took the bag back to the branch where i have purchased it and they said they can not do anything about it because it has passed its expiry date for damaged goods. I do understand that according to consumer law you can return damaged goods for a refund or to be fixed within 6 months but the fact that a Guess bag which is suppose to be of high quality only lasts 6 months. The consultants at the store could not give me any assistance , and only told me to go and take it somewhere else to be fixed. This saddens me to pay so much money for a good brand , or seems to be one, and i have to pay now to have it fixed. It is not my problem that the bag started tearing a week after the expiry date.
