Guess Gateway terrible service

Absolutely horrible service for an international branded store situated in Gateway. i purchased a purse 2 months ago & to my astonishment, the material started peeling of the sides, it not something i would have expected considering its supposed to be an original made item & not a ****. i went to the store yesterday the 13/12/2020 & the employee & manager agreed to return the item however they dont have the exact item to replace & told me to take another item to the same value, which i did. thereafter they told me i need to pay the difference because i purchased to 1st item whilst it was on sale & even though the original price is the same they cannot give me to replacement item for the same price. this is not the service i expect from Guess especially for an item that is 2 months old that has factory defects yet im being inconvenienced
