not gap cover

Not worth a star..

my 82 year old Mother had a valve replacement done and we were told that the medical aid would not pay the full amount for the valve and we had to pay the balance of R54000.00 on admission to hospital, we came up with the money and Mom had her life saving operation. my Dad submitted all paperwork to Admed gap cover and claim was denied because they said incorrect paperwork was submitted. at this point i took over and resubmitted claim. after much this way and that way they denined claim again saying they do not pay shortfall on valves ? I do not see how they can not pay for the valve short fall. why do my Parents have gap cover if they do not pay the gap? This was a shortfall that the medical aid does not cover..

i will be cancelling their gap cover this week as it is a waste of money.. i bet they fool who sold the policy did not tell they are ****.
