I've put in a claim with Mr Price - Medinet for hospitalisation
I've put in a claim with Mr Price - Medinet for hospitalisation. I was admitted through casualties 4 weeks prior to my operation for nearly a week. With a huge battle they paid that to me as a salary boost and not for the claim I originally claimed for. Then because of my illness I had, I had to go for an very big operation where 3 quarter of my stomach was removed. When I wanted to claim again for hospitalisation, it was denied because according to Guardrisk policies I can only claim once every twelve months which I was unaware of. They can't provide me with evedince that I signed or recording of a telephonic conversation where I was informed regarding this closure in the policy. The only one I've known about is where it's stated that I'm not allowed to claim twelve months prior to agreeing to the policy for illnesses I might have had. It was a huge struggle to get an answer from Guardrisk. Everytime I contacted them, they said I'll have an answer by that Friday. They were just playing for time because after a certain period you can't claim anymore. I've got this policy for many many years and now that I need it they refuse to pay. Because of this operation I am unable to work for 6 months and had to quit my job. Guardrisk is suppose to protect the customer and not the company.
