Insurance ****

I've been a client at BMW Insurance, currently underwritten by Guardrisk Insurance for 8 years with the same motorcycle. (R1200GS) The sum insured of R 125000 on policy documentation. Bike was recently written off and <br> no where was it discussed by me or the insurance that should an accident occur the pay-out would be on retail value. This is what they've now offered, which is of course a ridiculous sum. This issue has been going on since July and up until today no one has taken the time to resolve this matter or to respond to any of my correspondence. I'm utterly disgusted by the customer service I've received from the Insurer as this is not the type of service I'm used to from BMW. I wouldn't recommend Guardrisk Insurance to anyone thinking of taking out a motorcycle insurance policy!<br>
