Finsafe is a ****
I have been paying insurance for over 2 years on credit life with Finsafe underwritten by Guardrisk. When I try to claim for what I am paying for (besides having to jump through hoops - every day another story and another form) after nearly 8 weeks they deny the claim for what THEY decide a definition is. I'm in the restaurant industry in a Casino -only to return on level 1 or after -. So since 25 March I have not been paid by the company. . They now say since I get UIF (which is not nearly my earnings and not enough to support family as it is) it is "income" so sorry. Cant help. So what they're telling me is if I am retrenched completely (a definite possibility) I STILL wont be able to claim because of UIF. So why exactly am I paying insurance if I cant use it?
