CIB broker and Guardrisk Insurance

Guys be careful of this insurance, they have rejected my claim stating that my car aquaplaned while all my tyre threads were above 1mm. What does this say about the south African law which stipulates that a tyre with at least 1mm thread is considered roadworthy?

Crazy thing is that when I question them they simply told me that "They have no further information and they reserve their right to uphold their decision" lmagine that!!
