DO NOT USE THEM!!

I have shares with FNB and decided to move my portfolio across to Easy [URL Removed] Group (All the same company as far as I know). So I proceeded to start the process by notifying FNB and released the lock on my portfolio allowing another company to take them over.
I filled in the necessary form for [URL Removed] and submitted it via email as per instructions on their website. Zero response, I sent it again and got a reply. I waited a while, nothing! I re-submitted the same form. Then after some time, I query and ask for the matter to be escalated. A \Justin Pe****\" contacted me via email and said that he would personally chase it up and requested my cellphone number. I provided my number and he called me a while after to apologise profusely and that the lack of communication was from their side and that the process between them and ComputerShare is not simple. Fair enough, I told him, please just be transparent and provide me with updates. After that call, not even a single email has been sent.
I WILL never recommend anyone to buy shares with them. Justin Pe****, you should not be allowed to be a Head of Client Engagement. You couldnt be bothered about the company!"

Hello tkatsapas,

Thank you for taking the time to take my call yesterday.

As discussed, the process of transfer of a share portfolio from one brokerage to another is at the moment an unnecessarily lengthy process (about 4-6 weeks) because of the difficulty of trying to co-ordinate the quick and efficient interaction, and exchange of information between 3 parties:
The broker losing the portfolio
Ourselves - the receiving broker
CSDP - in the middle

In this particular case, we established that the long delay in the final stage of the process was because one party had not submitted a last bit of vital information to another.

Where we failed you, was in not keeping you up to date on proceedings, giving the impression that we were sitting idle on our side, when in fact the transfer was being worked on. As expressed yesterday, we apologise for that.

We are taking urgent measures to ensure that clients transferring portfolios to EasyEquities are communicated with regularly. These measures include moving the Transfers team onto our Freshdesk ticketing system from this Monday 5th of February for the efficient management of all future transfers

Apologies again for the frustration caused.

Regards
Justin

Best regards,
