During October 2012 I viewed a coffee shop business in the Constantia Village Shopping centre which was for sale. It was for sale for R700,000.00. <br> <br> During due diligence, I asked if any more coffee shops would open and she said NO. I then submitted a business plan to the Centre management. She would issue a new two year lease on the expiration of the existing lease so I had to take session if it. I told her I need a three year term to cover my investment and took cession of the lease, on the agreement I would get a two year term thereafter. <br> <br> A month later a Woolworths opened. I accused her of lying and I tried to sell. She blocked buyers by not approving them. She did not grant an extension when the time came either. My broker put forward a number of buyers and eventually, she advised a buyer - in front of my broker - she will only approve him.
