The disaster of the Groupon Bought lugguage

If I could give this 0.1 of a star I would, I bought a luggage set off Groupon in July last year and only travelled with it for my honeymoon in August this year. To say this luggage set was a disaster is an understatement. I checked my baggage through from Cape Town to Munich, upon arriving in Munich, the back of the luggage was slightly torn with items of clothing sticking out, the wheel had broken and the actual carry handle had broken clean off making transferring from the airport to our accomodations along the way an utter nightmare. This had nothing to do with the baggage handlers working for the airline, it had to do with the quality of the actual suitcase, after the first use it had been rendered broken beyond repair.

I understand that there is a 6 month return policy, but to sell such absolute ******* stating that it was originally worth R2000 is unacceptable, you can get an amazing suitcase for R1500 which will not break upon first usage. I have since voiced my disgust at the product but have been told that Groupon cannot put me in contact with the supplier due to contractual obligations, fair enough, but surely, to maintain a positive image, they would insist that the retailer contact me directly. Any retailer who has any ethics would take back or swop any faulty product regardless of waranty based on the poor quality of the product, but no one has bothered to phone or investigate this product further. They just raise their hands and say sorry we cant help. I may as well have lit a braai and burnt my R1000, it would have proven less painful than lugging around a heavy useless broken suitcase all over Europe. Shame on you Groupon and supplier, shame on you...
