Misinformed Customer

I bought a voucher in January 2015 for Shikwari lodge in Hoedspruit for a romantic getaway. <br> My husband and I were very disappointed with the fact that nowhere in your voucher does it state that the self-catering option has a communal bathroom (kitchen and lounge is also communal, but does not bother me). Even Shikwari's website does not state this very clear.<br> I went back to all my correspondence with her and nowhere has she even mentioned the communal bathroom setup (after she assured me she sent it to me by email). I would definitely not have booked this if I knew what the setup was. I WAS asked if I was sure I wanted to stay in the self-catering, but no reason why!<br> We were offered to be upgraded at an xtra R2999 (on top of the R1750 I already paid), when it should only have been another R2250.<br> She asked what we are going to do and we said we will look for alternative accommodation for the night and go back home the next day as it was late afternoon. Not even offered to stay in an upgraded room for only 1 night.<br> We have decided that we will not buy another groupon as the customer should be protected and not exploited by their suppliers.
