HD waterproof camera missing battery and charger

My wife in August 2015 months ago bought me a HD waterproof camera for my birthday to the value of R1100 and kept it a surprise for me for my birthday on the 1st of November 2015. Excitedly she gave it to me on my birthday, initially I opened the box and tried to charge the device. Unfortunately there was no charger included. I went through the box a few times to see what else was missing and also a spare battery was also missing. The device has been sitting on my bedside table for the last 2 weeks, waiting for a resolution from Group On. My wife bought it through her father, I took a photo of all the included fittings and camera as Group on instructed and sent it to them. They rep**** saying that I should return it so they can verify, and also their supplier does not stock missing parts so they cannot just send me the missing parts. My wife is very disappointed and using group on has left me not very confident in their after sales support. She has paid for the product received an incomplete one and now been requested to return it.
