In Nov 2015, I ordered a set of pots on Groupon.

In July 2016, I contacted Groupon telephonically to ask how to go about having the lid of one of the pots repaired or replaced. I was told in the terms and conditions of sale, there was a 6 months warranty.

Since I do not remember such a condition of sale, I asked to be shown such. The operator could not provide it but promised to follow-up via email.

Via email, I received a link to the Groupon goods global returns policy - from the UK site.

When I pointed out that this was the UK site and not the South African one, the operator (via email) acknowledged her error and forwarded the subsequent response.

The response then read that it was not a term or condition of sale but that Section 56 of the CPA was applicable.

When I enquired which part of the Act was being invoked, I received the UK site's returns policy (sent originally).

I have had no response since my last email asking for my enquiry to be escalated to a manager or supervisor.
