Groupon does not help when suppliers dont deliver

I bought a voucher from Groupon for aircon servicing. The supplier came and \serviced\" the aircon but did not do the two major things that was required, re-gassing and clearing the outlet condensate drain. During servicing the supplier insisted that the gas did not need to be refilled and clearing the outlet drain was not necessary. Within a month the aircon was not cooling and the aircon outlet became partially blocked resulting in the condensate leaking into the room damaging the carpet. I contacted the supplier who promised to attend, delayed for over a month and then refused to service it properly, telling me to get someone else to service it. This means that I have pay the full price again to service it with someone else. I compalined to Groupon who promised to assist and then sent me a terse email saying that they do not get involved in disputes between their partners and customers which is very different to other reputable online sites I use. The supplier still advertises on Groupon and will probably dupe some other Groupon customers. No wonder Groupon does not respond on HelloPeter.com. Beware of Groupon!"
