False advertising

Groupon advertised accommodation for 1 week in Cape Town. I booked and paid. I send though a reservation request to info@group travel as per the ad. I called Groupon Support on the 10th November after not receiving any feedback from Group travel ando was told the company misrepresented themselves. Who approves these ads? After three emails to Groupon support I still have not received my refund or an acknowledgement when they will refund me!!
