DO NOT buy from Groupon!

<p>I ordered a product from Groupon. However I was bitterly disappointed with the product as it did not perform to expectation (absolute trash to be honest). I then logged a request to return the item via the Groupon returns portal, which was subsequently declined. However, Groupon did not think it necessary to bother notifying me or contact me to follow up. I also couldn't find a record or reference of the request when I went back to check on the portal - it simply vanished. The reason they refused to accept the return was for "hygiene" purposes, but it is an electronic appliance??? I called their customer service centre and they promised me the contact details of the manufacturer so that I can take the matter up directly with them - but still waiting for them to mail me back (no surprises there!). PLEASE do NOT buy from Groupon because you have no recourse if you are unhappy with the products purchased. There is also ZERO customer support or service. I frequently use take-alot and have never had any issues, so do yourself a favour and rather use a reputable online merchant. Groupon are a bunch of ******* and ********!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
