Deal bought through Groupon and no delivery

I bought a photoshoot deal through groupon on 14/11/2015. I had a photoshoot with Odette form Shutter extreme. The lady did not abide by her t&c and never delivered the photos. I contacted her several times making empty promises and i resorted to Groupon since i bought the deal through them. The lady on the phone told me there was nothing groupon can do if i cant get hold of Odette. Why are they not doing background checks on their customers since we as groupon customenrs buy deals through them as they are a trusted source. I feel so dissappointed as they are fast to take money from us but not willing to help us when we do not get what we bought.
