broken tablet

good day i bought a kiddies tablet in November and now the battery is damage. i tried to contact groupon regarding their warranty. they havent got back to me. they told me their Further information: Notify [Email Removed] within 7 days of delivery. Returns are accepted only if in original packaging. Opened packages will not be accepted for returns. im not returning goods but complaining about the damage battery within a period of less than a year.
