Hyundai Midrand is useless!

<p>March 29 my car broke down and I had it towed to Hyundai Group1 Midrand 16th Road. After THREE misdiagnosis, they finally told me I needed a new engine and they wanted to buy my car. I wasnt even selling my car, why were they offering to buy it?</p> <p>Anyway, the **** was when I tried to take back my car for a 2nd opinion, I was given a bill of R7K and informed that their external engineers charged this amount for engine inspection - AT NO POINT did i give permission for my car to be seen by their engineers, no did I give permission for an assessment that expensive! shouldnt I have been quoted first? After throwing tantrums, I finally pay the R7K and get my car towed home this morning. Lo and behold my engine is in the back seat, my exhaust is in a box in the boot- my car has been returned to me unAssembled. So I just basically forked out R7K plus to & from tow charges for my car to be on a vacation in their dealership to be returned unassembled! All the while, the gentleman I was dealing with (Ashwin) was not communicating on the status of my car throughout; I was the one phoning and emailing weekly and I'm sure the fact that I am a female played a huge role in this unacceptable treatment I have received from Hyundai. I am appalled and will NEVER again use their services! am I supposed to start reassembling this car myself??? #Disgusted</p>
