I strongly caution anyone considering using G6 Construction / Group6International and this man Roy Mambongo Savens - https://www.rmsavens.com/ In November 2025 I contracted this company for renovation work at my property in Cape Town. The total value of the main project was R324,205.70, which I paid in full based on the agreed scope of work. Unfortunately a large portion of the contracted work was never completed. Significant items were left unfinished or never started at all, including the kitchen installation, patio roofing, garage shelving, exterior paving, front door installation, and other agreed work. In addition, I paid a further R20,000 deposit for a separate boundary wall project which was barely started. Based on the invoice and the value of the outstanding work, the amount owed to me is approximately R168,886.10. Despite sending a formal letter of demand, I have received no meaningful response or resolution. I have therefore been left with a partially completed renovation project despite paying the contractor in full. As a result I am now forced to pursue further legal and regulatory avenues to attempt to recover the funds. My advice to other consumers is to be extremely cautious when dealing with this contractor and to avoid paying large amounts upfront without strong contractual protections in place. This has been a very costly and stressful experience and I would strongly recommend that anyone considering using this company conduct thorough due diligence before proceeding.
