Nissan NP300 OF 2019 - A "'NEW" CAR OR S**** ON WHEELS?

I bought a new NP300 DC in May 2019 from Group 1 The Glen. The sales person who sold the car to me is Sudesh Nad****n. I thought I bought a new car that is reliable and from a reputable company Nissan, little did I know I bought the car that is going to give me problems repeatedly.

I was surprised as this is supposed to be a new car and I cannot be experiencing such mechanical issues so early in its life span. I contacted Sudesh, but he just referred me to Nissan head office and provided their contact details.

The car had to be towed twice since I got it in May 2019, it was towed BB Nissan In Hatfield as it is the dealership closest to my residence. On 29 November 2019 the battery was replaced and again on 14 December 2019 it was towed as it didn’t want to go into gears. I was told that the clutch kit must be replaced and Nissan does not cover the cost.

I raised my concern with Nissan but they lacked empathy and they recited as if reading from a script and I was told about what is unwarrantable and not covered. They failed to look at this issue holistically taking into account this is supposed to be a new car.

Nissan, you displayed your lack of empathy In December 2019 while I was stranded during the holidays.

To add the cherry on op I was told on 9 January 2020 after I s****ped together the cost of the clutch kit that the car ABS light is on( which was not there initially) and must also be replaced.

What kind of vehicle was I sold? Was I deceived and got sold a vehicle that has issues and its faulty?

A vehicle that is just 8 months old, which was recently replaced with a new battery, a clutch kit and now the ABS must also be replaced. And all this must be done at my own cost.

The reason I always buy a new car, is to avoid all this drama that seem to accompany used car. But I’m encountering them with a new car.

I drove three cars before this one and was never towed or experienced any mechanical difficulties with them.

I thought buying a vehicle from a brand that is known and trusted by many will give me peace of mind and my safety will automatically be assured especially as I travel with my 2 year old daily.

I’m on tenterhooks and feel unsafe. In a brand new vehicle I’m paying for monthly with my hard earned money.

Now I don’t even trust this car, it’s like something else will fall apart or be stuck while I’m driving it to work with my child in the back seat. I rue the day I associated myself with Nissan. If I could turn the clock, I will run very far away.

A new car is supposed to bring joy, peace and happiness instead this Nissan NP300 is costing me, causing me stress and anger.

What is next Nissan, must the engine come apart while in motion before you take your consumers seriously for the vehicle that you made and don’t want to be accountable. Do you sell defects disguised as new cars or am I an unfortunate person who got to experience your ridiculous product?
