Beware: ********* and Dangerous practices
My car was sent to Grorap Autobody for repairs in Nov 2015. During a telecon with Peter Rapoza (Grorap) & Grace Mahlangu (Outsurance) in early Nov, he promised me the car will be fixed by no later than 11 Dec. Based on this info, I booked my Dec holidays. Eventually received the car on 15 Dec, with a LOT of things not working, incl. rear lights, steering control unit, aircon, fog lights etc. Needless to say, couldn't go on holiday. Took the car for an evaluation in early Jan 2016 & Outsurance confirmed that Grorap made a mess of my car and also did not use new parts. The new repairer phoned me saying that Grorap admitted to them not replacing the electrical harness of my car, only mending it, as I was a difficult client & wanted my car - which I would never have done knowing the extent of the damages. They also told me that was a potentially life threatening situation as my vehicle was at risk of catching fire due to the faulty wiring.

Grorap did not even have the courtesy to tell me that I will be driving my family around in a vehicle that might just kill them. They also failed to notify Outsurance of this, which tells me they never intended to replace the harness anyway.
