The hospital is not the same anymore, the nursing staff has absolutely no sympathy for the I'll any longer as my mom was in that hospital bed for four days and since then her experience was inhumane. They made my 84 year old mother lay in her own urine the entire night and told her to wait for the morning staff to come and clean her and the bed. Who in their right mind does something like that to the elderly. When she rings the buzzer for attention because they take their own time to do things then they disconnect the buzzer as to say that she's being a nuisance. I am deeply appalled by the staff at Grooteschuur hospital and this is not the first time I complain regarding the care that's given at that hospital. They not doing people favors man, they took an oath to take care of the sick and treat them with dignity and respect. Their standards have really dropped. They should really start looking into these kind complaints.
