Pathetic and unprofessional service

<p>When you think of nursing as a career, you think of someone with a motherly instinct. Someone who cares about the next. Someone who definitely has your best interests at heart.</p> <p> </p> <p>Well unfortunately this is not what should be expected when attending GSH. The service is pathetic and disgusting.</p> <p> </p> <p>My husband was referred there on Tuesday 1 November 2016. We entered the hospital at exactly 8 50 pm. Protocol test to see which colour sticker he needed was done at 9 30 pm.</p> <p> </p> <p>He was given a yellow sticker which meant it was a 4 - 6 hour wait.</p> <p> </p> <p>With a total of 4 patients nobody was going in or coming out. Everyone just sat and waited...</p> <p> </p> <p>At 11 30 we were shifted to another waiting area as "the doctors were going home"</p> <p> </p> <p>Now becoming restless and moody (facial expressions) a nurse has the nerve to ask me "whats with the attitude"</p> <p> </p> <p>I am disappointed that in todays life people no longer do things with passion and fulfilment but more for the benefits it has to offer.</p> <p> </p> <p>After waiting 4 and a half hours my husband is then told that " your blood results are fine you are not an emergency patient so you can go to the chemist or wait another 6 hours"</p> <p> </p> <p>Why do we pay tax if we cant make use of free services?</p> <p> </p> <p>Obviously we weren't going to wait another hour longer, with 2 small kids at home and work in a few hours.</p> <p> </p> <p>I just honestly feel that instead of fees falling lazy ass nurses should.</p> <p>The sluggishness and pathetic attitudes they have are really unasked for.</p> <p> </p> <p>YOU GET PAID TO DO YOUR JOB SO STOP ACTING LIKE YOU'RE DOING US A FAVOUR!</p>
