Awful Psychiatrist ruined my life.

*Apparently the email I sent to GSH wasnt enough* ________________________________________________ To whom it may concern,

I'm writing this letter with regret & disappointment. The complaint refers to Dr Seechi, the female Psychiatrist.

I went into my last visit in December, with optimism & excitement but, I was met by a cold, uninterested, self centered woman who gave me no opportunity to speak.

The objective of the meeting was to speak about a few symptoms that I haven't before experienced as well as the aggressive changes in my mood that is new to me.

Things are changing quickly & I am unwell. I had to relieve myself from my full time job because, I was no longer able to perform.

I came prepared, with everything that I needed to discuss on a notepad because I struggle with short term memory & I didnt want to miss anything.

She spent the entire session reading my folder & telling me what her findings were. I've been a patient at your hospital for about 7yrs, I'm well aware of what's in the folder... what I need is for her to listen to me & understand my current state. Every chance I had, I attempted to speak with her, but she insisted on shutting me up & go back to reading the notes in my folder out loud. Whatever I had to say, was irrelevant to her.

I'm around people everyday who dont understand what's going on with me & the one chance I get to speak to a professional who should listen, understand & advise me accordingly, was not interested. I was desperate to have my condition heard & really wanted a change in medicine.

Also, I had asked her to provide me with a letter to hand in to my insurance company who would supplement my income. This she refused as well. She said my information was confidential & my request was *******.

I left the hospital in a worse state & I spiraled into a severe state of depression, where I had remained for several weeks. The insurance company will not help me, everything is in arrears, I had to sell my car to get the rent up to date, all of my valuables including my laptop, cellphone, Guess watches & my DSLR camera (photography student) has been sold for food & electricity.

She has turned my life into a living hell. I was advised to take the matter to court... but as you can believe I dont have any money for that kind of expense and I cant consider taking out a loan because all my Bill's are in arrears and there goes my credit record.

I have never been in the presence of such a Dr. I recall having a fantastic session or two with Dr Charles. If I had seen him, my life would not be where it is today.

She, fully aware that i need a letter as soon as possible, gives me an appointment for April. By then, the insurance company would have closed the case & I will surely be living on the streets.

I need to see a Dr as soon as possible, I'm in a constant state of panic & depression & suicide has become somewhat romantic.

I hope this reaches someone who can act quickly & assist as soon as possible.
