Amazing staff, clean and functional!

Broke my wrist about 3 weeks ago. Did not have a medical aid and went to Groote Schuur. They rolled me into the ER, gave me pain meds immediately, strapped my wrist, saw a dr within 10 minutes and was sent for x-rays.

A week later I was admitted for three nights because my break was too bad so they had to operate. I had an amazing stay at the hospital. Clean, fully functional and super caring and friendly. Got up in the mornings to shower and when I returned to my bed, they had put fresh linen on my bed and made it ready for me to just get in and get comfy.

I had a whole team of doctors that looked after me and the staff were so caring and amazing.

I am forever grateful to this hospital for saving my wrist and doing it with such care and compassion!
