Expired Goods

Good day Peter I would like to know whether it's legal to sell goods with expiring dates from February 2020 up to August 2020? I was visiting this Grocery Store Bargain Outlet in Kimberley on the 28th of November 2020 and have found almost all edibles with expiring dates.
