KITCHEN UNIT INSTALLATION

G.R.J PROJECTS [ *** / Port Elizabeth-based ] : Kitchen Unit Installations. * It is my considered opinion that anyone who is introduced to this Company ( Mr. Gerard Jenneker ); should AVOID contracting with this Company ! In carrying out a full Home Renovation / Re-Construction ( Cape St. Francis ); GRJ P was recommended as a new; reliable Contractor .... Although genunine; ultimately it was misleading in the extreme ! In objecting to the requested 70 % : Deposit; I was assured that the project would be completed within 4-6 weeks. With the 4-Month mark approaching and a partial installation at best; multiple excuses ( Only 2 being valid ) and many re-commitments to complete had been exhausted to the point of utter absurdity. Threatened with Legal recourse and word-of-mouth across the local community; the project was completed; but as the installation was critical to the on-going renovation / re-construction program; at least 4 other follow-on procedures were hugely compromised and significant additional costs incurred. It is now 7 weeks since a re-commitment to deal with latent problems / snags was given .... Needless to say; more excuses have been given out and no remedial work has been carried out ! Project management; logistics ( As aggravated by late on-site arrival ) and lack of Staff co-ordination / organisation; are all non-existent. Tellingly; those that made the original recommendation have cut all ties with this Company. Again : It is my considered opinion that one should NOT deal with Gerard Jenneker / GRJ Projects at all.
