Truth about the hellish trip

Good day

I was so happy when I heard about Greyhound operating again in South Africa. It was my coach of choice for years.

Since Greyhound left and started operating again, it was my first time booking a bus tickets for me and my fiancee from Richardsbay to Pretoria on the 20th of May 2023.

I was so looking forward to the trip, because it wouldve been the first time in a couple of years Ive travelled via Greyhound.

Ive bought my Greyhound PREMIUM TICKETS (PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FEATURES THAT IS EXPECTED AND PROCLAIMED BY GREYHOND FOR ITS PREMIUM COACHES).

This morning about 2 hours before departure, we received an sms telling us that Greyhound has partnered with citiliner and that we can expect a Greyhound or citiliner bus. Okay, I gave it the benefit of the doubt.

The citiliner bus arrived late. Then I had to deal with a very rude driver and co driver, that has insulted my character infront of the other customers by trying to ridicule me. But the worst has yet to come.

Absolutly NO premium features, dirty, invested with ****roaches and definetly not road worthy with breaks or wheelbearings burning. Toilet has no toiletpaper or handsoap, sanitary bin is broken and lying open, if you flush the toilet the smell of burning rubber is almost suffocating. Please see attached photos. This was a bumpy ride from hell.

Im so dissapointed in Greyhound. Ive paid for PREMIUM tickets, Ive got a a shack. This is unacceptable.

I will not use or reccomend Greyhound again if this type of service and coach is the respect they showed towards their customers

Trip out of hell
