Truly disturbed

My mother booked a ticket from Cape Town to Durban.

Pick up was Sunday 12:05 PM on schedule as per the ticket booked.

Half way here the bus broke down due to the engine collapsing. My mother was stuck on the side of the road from 10 PM at night until 1PM the following day where a new bus arrived to bring her the rest of the way.

Just to let you know the bus has still not arrived. My husband drove an hour from home expecting to fetch my mother in law and just returned home empty handed because there is another 3 hour delay due to more bus problems and driver swaps. I am speechless and truly disturbed by all of this.

The ticket arrival shows 10:30 AM (this morning). Real arrival still pending and it is now 1:52 AM the following morning. A whole 15 hour delay plus another 3 hours as per the recent conversation via telephone. On top of that my mother cannot charge her phone on the new bus and her battery is about to die. My mother WILL NOT be returning to Cape Town using Greyhound and needs a refund for her ticket home please. This is totally unacceptable. She was promised a luxury trip but is currently traveling in a nightmare shared with roaches.
