The worst trip-never getting on a Greyhound coach ever again

<p>Last week I had booked a return trip home for the weekend and I guess that was my first mistake. When I got to Park Station, the bus was meant to leave at 17:30 but it left 30 minutes later with no explanation. Our seat was wet and had a putrid smell which we had to sit on throughout the entire 12 hours, not only that but the coach had ****roaches all over which made it impossible for me to enjoy my journey altogether. </p> <p>I initially was not going to lay a complaint but the return trip was the nail in the coffin. Not even 20 minutes into the return trip the coach was stopped in the middle of nowhere for about 30 minutes, again with no explanation. When we went to the drivers booth there was no one there and we were locked inside the bus. Upon knocking numerous times for the driver(s) to open the door for us (which they finally did) they informed us that one of the passangers had failed to return back to the coach and we had to wait for her. No one informed us that this was happening and all of this was done without consideration of arrival time. Not long before we arrived the bus made a stop on the side of the road for about 2 hours, again with no explanation to us. We then took some sort of back route till we finally made it to Johannesburg. The bus was meant to have arrived at 5:50 only arrived at 9:30am, needless to say I was 3 hours late for work. The busses are unreliable, poor communication, lack of proper hygene just to name a few. I am saddened at this event and I want a full refund.</p>
