STAY AWAY FROM GREYHOUND!
Please use Greyhound at your own patience! My bus was supposed to leave at 11am at the Cape Town station. Next thing we get told that our bus left, meanwhile the bus did not arrive. We were supposed to get on an Eldos service bus, that would take us to Bellville and there we would get the Greyhound bus. Greyhound should have communicated this arrangement the minute I made payment. I had to take a meter taxi to Bellville, only for the guy to tell us that Greyhound is not allowed in the Cape Town station premises, because it is still in debt to PRASA. But as a customer, that has got nothing to do with me. Waited at Bellville for hours, the bus arrived at 14:10pm and it was cold and drizzling... Next thing the Aircon was a nightmare!!! And I have a 15 month old baby. The driver then tells us that some smart idiot called the call centre, to complain that the bus was too hot! FALSE!!! WE WERE ALL COMPLAINING ABOUT THE AIRCON!!! How can 1 person, have so much power to control the Aircon of the bus?! Next thing the driver gets a passenger arrested. I fully understand that he was drunk on the bus, but he's complaints were all valid because his baby was 8 months and he had to buy Panado because the baby was coughing!! To make it even worse, the bus was moving too slow! I thought I was the only one who noticed it, until others started complaining that the bus was moving slowly! Don't even get me started at the amount of stops, that bus took! Finally got to park station, only for for ones going to PTA to be told to get off and get on another bus. Yoh!!! Greyhound service is no different from those cheap buses that have ticket prices going for R350! I will never support Greyhound again!!! I don't even want an apology from them, never have I been so exhausted in my life!!!!
