So much coldness in a Greyhound bus

Was traveling on the greyhound from johannesburg to east London... It was sooo cold the whole trip, was sitting at the bottom deck, when we asked for heater we were told the heater pump at the bottom deck does not work.... I mean it's winter how can they not service these things or know if the heater does not work!! The driver was polite when he told us though but I feel like greyhound just doesn't care all they want is our money
