Poor Service, Very Poor.
Hello there World, would like to discourage you all from using The Greyhound in South Africa.
Earlier i was contacted by my grandparents. They were complaining (while shivering) about how cold the bus is. My grandma asked me to pease contact the call centre to request the driver to atleast switch the aircomditioner off, as its 22:00. Both my grandparents have arthritis.
I called the Callcentre, spoke to a girl named Yanda.
I told her the problem and she asked me to repeat 2 times, (note how i am being charged standard rates for the call, its not free) i repeated the issue twice, the agent then asked "so what do you want me to do"
I asked her to contact the bus driver.
I furnished her with the bus departure time, departure location and destination.
I then mentioned i have my grandmothers first and last name too, the agent kept on refusing and demanding the bus refrence number. I asked for the manager she refused and said i should call in the morning. (senseless as my grandparents wouldve arrived by then)
She kept demanding for the reference number and refused to accept all the info i had provided her with, till my airtime finished.
So what do i do now?
What will become of my grandparents in that bus?
All because Greyhound staff are cosy in their offices and warm and could not careless about their passengers.
We will be booking The Intercape from now on for all our family and friends.
Please, do not use Greyhound guys.
